Package: glade-2 Version: 2.6.8-1 Severity: normal The Glade copyright file apparently confuses "copyright" (as in "copyright holder", like "Copyright (C) 2005 by Justin Pryzby") and "license". It lists the GPL header and disclaimer text under the "Copyright:" heading.
It should probably say Copyright (C) 19XX by Damon Chaplin. Additionally, it would be nice if it detailed the license under which the output "source" code is available. I believe that the output source code is not govererned by the GPL, since it is not outputting some part of Glade, but rather arbitrary (and short) GTK library calls. The relevent section is the paragraph immediately before Section 1 of GPLv2: ... the output from the Program is covered only if its contents constitute a work based on the Program (independent of having been made by running the Program). Whether that is true depends on what the Program does. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
