I am in US-CST (GMT-6). I have noticed problems syncing between my Opie device and KOrganizer. When I have set no timezone selection in KOrganizer (note the timezone is configured correctly in the underlying OS and other KDE apps have no problem with the time), then items brought over from the Opie environment show up 6 hours later than the correct time. If I configure my timezone in KOrganizer to the correct timezone, then items brought over from the Opie environment show up 6 hours earlier than the correct time.
