Dear Roland,

I can't reproduce your bug.

        $ cat /usr/share/mime-info/glabels.mime
        application/x-glabels
                ext: glabels

Are you using the extension .glabels on the end of your files? If so,
then I suggest you should rerun as root:

        # /usr/bin/update-mime-database /usr/share/mime

to refresh your settings and see if that fixes it.
