Note that this is not a bug at all but rather a temporary inconvenience for people using unstable and expecting to be able to upgrade each and every packet at all times. One of the clear indications that you're not seeing a bug is the lack of inherency of harms, i.e. the "problem" will disappear without further intervention when the build-dependencies of gnucash will become available and the package will be built on all platforms. Note that it probably is a good idea to learn about the processing of packages within the Debian archives when using unstable (or testing for that matter) to avoid annoyance by such phenomena on the side of the user and spare the maintainer the processing of invalid bug reports. I fully expect Thomas to close this bug as soon as he sees it, but that is his prerogative as maintainer.
