Package: tar Version: 1.14-2 I recently dist-upgraded my unstable distribution and found that my remote backups won't work anymore.
After a quick inspection of the situation, i found that: tar cf [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/user/test.tar files produces the following error message: bash: line 1: /usr/libexec/rmt: No such file or directory tar: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/user/test.tar: Cannot open: Input/output error tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now which is of course correct, because it looks for rmt in /usr/libexec on my other host, which isn't there. Instead, it has to look for it in the old place at /etc/rmt again. Simon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
