Do note that you can change the test result for a simple warning. (In
default.profile, edit <check name="root_servers_ns_vs_icann"
severity="f" category="dns:root"/> to replace the f by a w.)

The error message is wrong and I reported it upstream
(http://www.dnsdoctor.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8). The rest is a
wish.

Or an option on the command line, may be, to select a given set?

Your idea is politically nice because it treats all sets of root
nameservers as equal. You do not agree with RFC 2826 ?
