These messages come from the kernel, not from pmount. If you don't specify a file system (using -t), pmount just tries to mount it as different file systems until it succeeds. If you don't want to see these messages, change your kernel log policy in /proc/sys/kernel/printk, work under X :-) or specify the correct file system. There is nothing that I can do about this in pmount, so I'm tagging this wontfix. Do you want to keep this bug open?
