Package: gaim Version: 1.1.1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
the away message box, as said in many other bugreports, is really annoying. It reminds me the times gaim popup-ed windows each time it gets disconnected, and so. I think it would be really better if gaim didn't use another window for away state, but just a tricky button in the icon bar on the bottom of the main window, and displays the number of queued messages inside the contact list, near their owner... This would cause gaim to be really much more usable and cool to use... I hate popups. I kill them with firefox, so don't bother me with popup that firefox can't kill ;-D Best regards -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-lirc Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR) Versions of packages gaim depends on: ii libao2 0.8.5-1 Cross Platform Audio Output Librar ii libaspell15 0.50.5-5 The GNU Aspell spell-checker runti ii libatk1.0-0 1.8.0-4 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-5 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcrypt11 1.2.0-4 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libglib2.0-0 2.4.8-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnutls11 1.0.16-9 GNU TLS library - runtime library ii libgtk2.0-0 2.4.14-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtkspell0 2.0.8-1 a spell-checking addon for GTK's T ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpango1.0-0 1.6.0-3 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libperl5.8 5.8.4-5 Shared Perl library ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System Session Management ii libstartup-notification0 0.7-1 library for program launch feedbac ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii perl 5.8.4-5 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii perl-base [perlapi-5.8.4 5.8.4-5 The Pathologically Eclectic Rubbis ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
