The menu entry does only start /usr/bin/jpilot without any parameter. I strongly doubt it is a menu entry problem. > Also I think visor is actually on USB1, but BTS reports as above. I don't know how the USB port is attributed. If you think it is USB1 you can change the jpilot configuration. It is in File->Preferences->Settings, change the serial port from /dev/pilot to /dev/ttyUSB1.
