Package: mysql-server Version: 4.0.23-1 Severity: important Since the latest upgrade of the package, non-local connection made by specific users just stopped to work. It fails with mnogosearch but also with a simple command with mysqlshow. Nothing changed in the configuration of the client, neither in the mysql user/host database.
I looked in the init scripts, including the new file /usr/share/mysql/debian-start.inc.sh but found no --skip-networking or similar option that could explain this problem. Any clues?
