Package: debootstrap Version: 0.2.45 Severity: important Hello, wanting to setup a Debian Testing onto an external hard disk for use in another machine, I used debootstrap to retrieve and install the base packages into the chroot I had set up on this disk. I also added a 2.6 kernel to that chroot. Unfortunately, when booting the disk on the other machine, I saw that modules could not be loaded : I quickly found out that the module tools for 2.6 kernels were not installed. I know that my lack of attention is in cause ;-), but it would avoid such problems if module-init-tools were added to the base packages installed by debootstrap for the "testing" and "sid" suites. Thank you.
