Thanks for the update -- I have uploaded it.
I asked upstream to drop the autoconf-generated files from git --
https://sourceforge.net/p/ipmiutil/feature-requests/12/ -- and think
that it would be nice if the Debian packaging used upstream git as the
debian/watch source.
