Package: ntopng
Version: 2.0+dfsg1-1
Severity: normal

When upgrading from version 1.2.1+dfsg1-2 to 2.0+dfsg1-1, the postinst
script hung. Note that this machine is still using sysvinit, not
systemd. The relevant pstree output:

root@basil:~# pstree -ap 7441
aptitude,7441 -u
  ├─dpkg,19994 --status-fd 107 --configure libndpi2:amd64 libjs-bootstrap:all
ntopng-data:all ntopng:amd64...
  │ └─frontend,20002 -w /usr/share/debconf/frontend
/var/lib/dpkg/info/ntopng.postinst configure 1.2.1+dfsg1-2
  │ └─(ntopng.postinst,20008)
  └─{aptitude},12945

Sorry, I did not notice if ntopng was running at this point or not, but
I believe it was for two reasons. The output from aptitude at this
point was

Setting up ntopng-data (2.0+dfsg1-1) ...
Setting up ntopng (2.0+dfsg1-1) ...
[ ok ] Starting network top daemon: ntopng.

At which point I killed frontend (20002) and aptitude continued with

dpkg: error processing package ntopng (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script was killed by signal (Terminated)

and then later:

Errors were encountered while processing:
 ntopng
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
W: Operation was interrupted before it could finish
Failed to perform requested operation on package. Trying to recover:
Setting up ntopng (2.0+dfsg1-1) ...
[ ok ] Starting network top daemon: ntopng already running.
Press Return to continue.
