Package: libsdl1.2debian-esd
Severity: normal

When an SDL program is run on a remote computer and esd is configured
with ESPEAKER set to use a remote esd,

- using esddsp with an SDL program without setting ESD_AUDIODRIVER
works as expected (i.e., sound comes out on the correct remote
  computer), but

- using the SDL program with ESD_AUDIODRIVER set to "esd" causes SDL
to complain that sound cannot be initialized
