Package: sudo
Version: 1.8.19p1-2.1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Specifying arguments to `sudo --preserve-env`, e.g. `sudo --preserve-env=PATH`
fails due to `sudo: option '--preserve-env' doesn't allow an argument` even
though the manpage of sudo allow the specification of environment variables to
specify. If that's not intended the manpage or the feedback by sudo is not
intuitive and should be improved.

I mixed up Ubuntu documentation and the Debian binary. The Debian
manpage doesn't mention a version of sudo which allows to pass arguments
to `--preserve-env`, sorry.
