Hi Christoph, I notice you disabled the firmware in cxgbe driver. I'm looking at your patch in order to commit it to upstream HEAD. Something I would need to know first: do you know if this driver works at all when the firmware module is missing? I suspect it wouldn't even be possible to load it. If it doesn't, the usual way to handle this is to disable the entire module in sys/modules/Makefile (see attachment). Please let me know if possible. Thanks! -- Robert Millan
