Interesting. I wonder if this could be related to the FTBFS of openjdk-7 seen on 8.1 but not 9.0 kfreebsd, which seemed to be some problem affecting the dl-minimal implementation of realloc() https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=openjdk-7&arch=kfreebsd-i386&ver=7u3-2.1.4-1&stamp=1358464149 > Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-minimal.c: 138: realloc: Assertion `ptr > == alloc_last_block' failed!
