This hasn't been seen to fail on kfreebsd-amd64 before. I saw this issue happen 3 out of 3 times in the same way. kFreeBSD has some threading-related issues running the Python test suite (#654783), but those are always reproducible, and affect both kfreebsd-amd64 and kfreebsd-i386.
