Package: kfreebsd-image-9-amd64 Version: 9.0~svn227451-6 Severity: important
Hi! Booting from a zfs root filesystem (created with the daily installer and a 8.2 kernel) fails with the kfreebsd 9 kernel: kfreebsd can mount a root filesystem and the kernel drops in the manual root filesystem selection dialog. This happens both, with the 8.2 style "old" zpool format as well as the "new" zpool format 28. In contrast experimental's -10 and 8.3 kernel both boot fine here. From within the netboot-9 installer the zfs pool is always marked as damaged while the -8 based one thinks it is fine btw.
