Dear all, two days ago inetutils-syslogd began dying within seconds after each restart. Regrettably it cannot be traced:
# kdump -f /syslogd.core kdump: data too short 0 UNKNOWN(258) Yet the core dump is 4M in size. Do look at your systems to see if syslogd is still alive. In addition, there are several complaints about "/var/run" and the inability to create directories, resulting in a handful failures to launch daemons, including Exim4. Are we sure that this migration to "/run" is correct? Best regards, Mats E A -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bsd-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
