Could some kFreeBSD fan please have a look at this:

AFAIUI, the issue is that libva is unconditionally trying to build a v4l
module. It would require someone to hack up the build system to stop
doing so on kFreeBSD. Probably not that much work, but I'm too busy with
other stuff right now.
Proposed patch is in #612480.
