Hi Several users have reported, that since kernel 8.0, konsole (kde terminal emulator) is broken.
I would like if someone with a bit of clue could take a look at why. I was told that the entire pty layer of the kernel has been rewritten for 8.0. There is a bug filed against konsole for reference, but the issue might also be in libkpty in kde4libs.
