Hello, dssi needs the ALSA headers to get compiled, but doesn't necesarily need ALSA itself. There is however the dssialsacompat package (http://home.jps.net/~musound) which just provides headers suitable for dssi, for non-linux platforms. Could somebody volunteer to package it?
