I sent my patches to upstream PPP (in samba.org). My patches should enable support for FreeBSD and GNU/FreeBSD and fix sys-bsd.c for all [GNU/]*BSD systems (so that it's trivial to add support for [GNU/]NetBSD). They're based on code from NetBSD's PPP and FreeBSD's PPP. -- Robert Millan
