Do you mean problems found by Alexander Viro in June 2001? This seem fixed on 5th February 2002 in revision 1.47 of kern_descrip.c . The other problem mentioned seems fixed too (I'm not a kernel hacker so I can't be sure). In NetBSD this seem fixed several years ago. Bye Pavel Cahyna
