I beg to differ.. FreeBSD comes with sendmail configured to run just fine by default. Thats the main reason I and many others (probably) continue using it, just because its there and it works. Yes, it would be nice if it was easier to remove rather than simply disable (This is something that needs work, removing unneeded parts of the base os)
