You've already found some similar reports, here's another: http://bugs.debian.org/465775. The only thing we can do here is to reassign your report to udev. As a possible solution, I suggest you change /etc/udev/rules.d/z25_persistent-net.rules as follows: - change the rule for your wired NIC so that it gets named as eth0 - remove any rules for your wireless NIC Then adjust /etc/network/interfaces as needed and reboot.
