Well, there seem to be two errors. The failure on libpthread should be easy to reproduce, we have the command line that's failing: objcopy --strip-unneeded -R .note -R .comment /lib//libpthread.so.0 ./tmp/cdrom_gtk/tree/lib/libpthread.so.0-so-stripped For the BFD internal error on libnewt, looks like you'd need to edit build/config/common and set MKLIBS = mklibs -v And then build the package to get the command that mklibs is running. -- see shy jo
