Package: debian-installer Version: 20070308etch1 Severity: wishlist It would be nice if the installer would tell the user how he/she can report bugs about the installer. It is not very obvious for a newbie to look for a package named debian-installer (even thought it has an intuitive name). Also, the installer should mention the version number "20070308etch1" somewhere since otherwise users will think that "4.0r2" would be the version they are using.
Even more complex wish would be to include bug reporting functionality in the installer itself and may be even provide real-time support via IRC? ;-) -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
