Package: debootstrap Version: 1.0.7 Severity: wishlist Hi!
It'd be nice if there was some way to use debootstrap to create a base Debian system without including all the cruft that lives in the "Priority: important" package set (sure, you can clean it up by hand afterwards, but it's a hassle). Looking at how debootstrap is structured, I suppose the way to do this is add a new "variant" like "buildd" or "fakechroot". Assuming it is, I'd be happy to provide a patch if you tell me: - What name to give this variant. - Which of the suite-specific /usr/lib/debootstrap/scripts/* scripts (other than sid/lenny) should be modified to include this feature. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-amd64 Locale: LANG=ca_AD.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ca_AD.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
