Package: debian-installer
Version: 20070308etch1
Priority: wishlist

I'm using the Debian Etch 4.0r0, netinstall ISO image and I note there
is no way of skipping the creation of a user account after setting up
the root password. I appreciate that it is good practise to always have
a user account, etc. but in some cases, such as when all of the user
accounts are being pulled from elsewhere (i.e. LDAP, NIS) being forced
to create one is just annoying. Perhaps there is a way of skipping
this, if so, could you make it a little more obvious? When I tried
just continuing the stage gave me an error an put me back to entering
the root password.

I appreciate that this is rather subjective and could also be filed
under 'whiney user request' but I thought it's worth mentioning. It's
fine by me if the answer is 'No, because ...'

Cheers,
 - Martin
