I have complained a while back that this phrase is not that well formed :-)

I will try again, since is still not fixed, although I raised the flag in
October last year.

Additions are marked like *this*. Removals are marked like (-this-)


"It will guess the broadcast address is the bitwise OR of your system's
IP address with the bitwise negation of the netmask."

IMHO it would be better to be:

"It will guess the broadcast address *which* is the bitwise OR of your system's
IP address with the bitwise negation of the netmask."

Or:

"It will guess the broadcast address (-is-) *as* the bitwise OR of your system's
IP address with the bitwise negation of the netmask."
