-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
as the Etch release managers are asking for additions to the release notes, I'm wondering whether you could/would want to add notes on the support status of Windows dynamic volumes [1]. I tried using parted for resizing a dynamic volume (set up as a "mirrored volume", i.e. a mirror software RAID spanning two physical disks) the other day, and parted failed to recognize both partitions as being used by windows, but stated they contained unrecognizable data. As such, I assume that D-I's partman will not support this either. I therefore recommend to add a note to the release notes stating that people considering to install Etch on their system in a multi boot environment who would like to resize their existing Windows dynamic volumes using Etch will not be able to do so.
