I have made an image for powerpc with the rootskel-gtk
from trunk which includes the fix/workaround for this bug.
I was able to type on an English keyboard after selecting:
Italian layout, then EN_US layout.
After these, I went back I chose Italian layout and was able to
type on a layout that was surely not EN_US (é was on the [ key,
" was generated when pressing shift+2)
That's correct, i believe you verified both
- that it keymap works correctly
- that multiple kwymap switches work correctly
