googling a bit shows that many ppl reported problems related to pthread_cancel() See for example: #360933 #294322 http://lists.debian.org/debian-amd64/2004/10/msg00046.html just looking for "libgcc_s.so.1 must be installed for pthread_cancel to work" brings up a lot of messages regards, Davide
