One more test: could you please compile the attached gtk application
(which simply runs a progressbar), pull into the d-i, run it and switch
VT while the progressbar runs to see if crashes?
So, I need to boot the d-i with the newt installer, switch to another
VT and run the program, right?
BTW, how do you easily add a binary to the d-i?
You wget it from somewhere :)
this is exactly what i do in order not to regenrate the iso every time i
have to pull in something new and should work easily.
