Comments/Problems:
almost everything worked fine
a /dev/dvd-link has not been created, only /dev/dvd and i could not get
xine-ui to work with that
most programs seem to expect /dev/dvd
KDE didn't use all fonts that have been installed, so at first it didn't look
nice
I don't know it is not possible, but it would be more comfortable, if you
could download a debian-non-free installer with
a possibility to choose the nvidia-glx-driver instead of the nv-driver during
the installation.
A tool to resize existing ntfs-and ext3 partitions (without data-loss) would
be great.

Great.

I've never heard of /dev/dvd-link before. Sounds like xine should be fixed
rather than the installer.

Yes, I have the same experience. If you want to follow up on this, please
contact the KDE maintainers (I'd suggest a mail to the debian-kde mailing
first).

That's not very likely with Debian. As you probably know, we support
non-free stuff where possible, but it's not really part of the
distribution.

And exists! The partitioner if perfectly capable of resizing both FAT,
NTFS and ext3 partitions. Just select "Manual" partitioning, select the
partition you want to resize and select the line listing the current
size. This is documented in the installation guide.
Closing your report as the installation was successful. Thank you very
much for submitting it. Good luck with the new system.
Cheers,
