I used the following recipe (packages/rootskel/src/lib/debian-installer/menu) after adding scsi and sata modules to the image: --------- modprobe sata_nv modprobe ext3 mknod -m 0660 /dev/sda1 b 8 1 mount -t ext3 -o rw /dev/sda1 /mnt strace -f -s 4096 -o /mnt/cdebconf.trace debconf -o d-i $MENU umount /mnt reboot --------- I hit C-A-F2 at the very beginning, on the first menu item.
