I've done some testing last week using an USB Italian keyboard and AltGr worked for me both with d-i and g-i even if there some differences between the two; this does not mean g-i handles very well keyboards. I've noticed for example weird behaviours if you select a keyboard layout and then try to change it (see #395257). regards, Davide
