Beta 3 on my system freezes if told to boot without any arguments and primary
card in bios is Matrox G450. When I turn off framebuffer boot options or change
primary card to Geforce NX6600 installation works. MB is Asrock 939Dual-VSTA.

You could try this again using a daily image of the installer which has a
more recent kernel, but otherwise there is not much we can do about the
failure with the Matrox G450. That is exactly why (or at least one of the
reasons) we offer the option to install without using the framebuffer.
As your installation was otherwise successful, I'm closing your
