I have tried install several several distros: Ubuntu, Fedora, Mandrake
and Kurumin.
None of then have this same problem.

Just for notice I have a Sansung 753DF.

Well, usually such things have to do with your *monitor*
settings. Something which the installer doesn't have control over.

I suggest closing the bug report. Frans?
