Regarding this issue, i did some test in the past days but wasn't able
to make the GTK frontend behave like the NEWT one; i also asked for
help on the ML dedicated to GTK app developement, but received no
answers. So, i propose to start applying the simple patch [1] i posted
some days ago and see later what else can be done about this issue.
Hmm. I don't really understand this as the frontend used to behave very
much like the newt one until the changes you did in release 0.103.
I guess you're talking about older images built with GTKDFB 2.0.9 libs,
right?
Please note that in more recent GTK+ libraries (no matter what backend
is used, X11 or DFB ) the standard behaviour has changed, so what we're
getting now is GTK+'s default behaviour.
Experiments i did with both DFB and X11 backends told me the behaviour
of the DFB backend is coherent with X11's.
