I think it's going to be a two steps "operation": - we'll first use what's already available in the Debian archives, which means everything _except_ cairo-dfb and gtk+-directfb_2.8.17 (we need debs and udebs from the package maintainers) - once gtk+ 2.10 will be officially out upstream, the debian-gnome team will ship the *-directfb packages along with the standard ones and we'll finally be aligned. It's been a very long process (which is not finished yet) but I think once we'll get there directfb and all the libraries based on it will receive alot of of attention / bug reports and fixes.
