Hi,
Looking at the bug report, the "Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology
Group Ltd. 88E8053 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 19)" requires the
sky2 driver, not sk98lin. IIRC the sky2 driver was only added in 2.6.16,
so it will not work with any earlier kernel.
There was (still is?) a separate module under the same "sk98lin" name
downloadable from SysKonnekt that supported the Yukon2, but that was
never part of the Linux kernel.
