Long time ago, I did set a mailing list on Alioth to receive commit
mails. This is the [EMAIL PROTECTED]

However, commit logs can also be received by subscribing to the
"debian-installer" package in the PTS, with the "cvs" keyword:

To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: foo

subscribe debian-installer
keyword debian-installer + cvs
thanks

I actually has to seek the PTS documentation to understand why one
receives the commits mails *only* when using the "cvs" keyword. This
is why I was personnally using the d-i-commits mailing list. However,
I'm the only subscriber to this list (Joey is subscribed with
"nomail").

So, it seems that the list is mostly useless unless we want to provide
an "easy" way to receive commit mails.

Should I remove it....or should we promote this list more widely?

If we remove it, we should maybe better document how to receive commit
mails.

PS: we also have the d-i-bugs mailing list which we're not using. It
was setup in order to have all bugs for D-I packages go in a dedicated
list so that debian-boot can be a little more light. This was decided
in a meeting where some people were mentioning the too high traffic of
-boot
