I would like to get support for the following SCSI adapter enabled in
debian installers:
"LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c1030 PCI-X Fusion-MPT Dual Ultra320 SCSI"
I believe this device driver to be accepted as of 2.6.15-rc5 by
kernel and needs the modules from kernel directory "drivers /
message / fusion".
After quick investigation these modules seems to detect the device
and attach it in the similar way as drivers from "driver / scsi" in
the kernel tree. However if there are some other modules needed for
LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 1030 device, I'd like to enable these too
of course.
I would like to ask if modification made upon this request will be
projected to 2.6 boot.img installer at http://people.debian.org/
~stappers/d-i/images/daily/sparc64/netboot/2.6/ as well as this is my
only way for installation at this moment.
I'm ready to test updated installer upon your request.
