How did you install?
Base install with the first CD with only basic packages chosen by
default.The laptop was cannected to an ADSL router with an RJ45 cable
andthe network was detected without any trouble. No proxy. Then I proceed
further choosing the necessary packages and downloading them from the
network. My sources.list:

Comments/Problems:
Everything went even more smoothly than expected. Some trouble with
X11 -not much skilled editing XF86Config-4- and couldn't get the right
colour depth. Solved using the X11 configuration file from Knoppix.

Given that your installation was a complete success, I do as
usual with reports for successful installations: I close the bug..:-)
This does not of course mean you weren't right to report. Knowing the
installations are correct is important for the d-i team.
