Hi,
I found out that the problem doesn't come from the sk98lin but from the
support of a PCI-Express motherboard on kernel 2.6.8.
It is just not supported !
If you use 2.6.11 or higher it works.
That is why it worked with Ubuntu : kernel on install and live CDs are
2.6.11 (or 12 not sure).
My workaround was to install from a network working system by using
debootstrap (from a linux live cd like knoppix or ubuntu) or vmware (from
windows) then you cook a kernel like 2.6.15 and you got a "working" sk98lin.
