Please try the daily built version of the installer available from [1]. If your CD drive is on a SATA controller, then see [2]. If you would like further help, you will need to provide us with more information next time. At least the output of 'lspci' and 'lspci -n' which, if you use the daily builds, you can get by switching to VT2 (use alt-F2).
