Update on the fb/X situation:
If I boot with video=aty128fb:1024x768, I get no output on the ADC connector (the screen goes blank sometime after the yaboot prompt). However, if I hook up a VGA monitor to the other video connector, things seem to work, and I can use the FBDev X server. (For some reason, it went into 1152x864 mode, but I can deal with that.)
Maybe the VGA-vs-ADC info should go in the documentation? (The ADC-connected displays were a common option on G4 Cubes.)
